As children develop from age 2 into age 3 it
is important to teach why we do things. We teach children how to wash
their hands, how to dress themselves and general hygiene. We work
diligently to help your child have a great transition out of diapers.
Children must be potty trained prior to moving up to the 3 year old
classroom.
We love to teach through music, encouraging the children to sing, clap
and dance. We encourage play with large LEGO© blocks, stacking and
building. We use balls, puzzles, crayons and finger paints to develop
hand eye coordination and encourage artistic characteristics.

I am originally from Kentucky, but relocated to
Clemson, SC in 1993. I graduated from Daniel High School in 2003 and in
May 2008, I graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a degree in
Communications. I am currently continuing my education at Tri-County
Technical College, pursuing a degree in occupational Therapy.
As a 2 year old teacher, my goal is to provide a safe, fun classroom for
the children to learn and play. While your children are in my class, I
hope to teach them basic fundamentals such as ABC’s, shapes, and colors
as well as 123’s in both English and Spanish. I also hope to guide them
in their social interaction, teaching them manners and respect for their
classmates
