In the 4 year old classroom we teach by
example. We act the way we want our children to act. We provide a good
role model attitude for the children to follow and learn. We teach all
the basics to prepare the children for kindergarten. We promote good
foundation life lessons. We teach ABC’s, counting, matching shapes, and
begin to teach children about weather. The children are encouraged to
memorize verses from the Bible and to ask a blessing before meals. |

I am originally from Bronx, NY. I graduated from William Howard Taft High
School in 1991. I have worked in child care for 22 years. In December
2008, I received a certificate in Introduction to Early Childhood
Education. I am currently working on a degree in Early Childhood
Education online with Kaplan University. I am a youth advisor on the
Community of Academic/Scholarship and the director of Youth and Women
praise dance team at Royal Baptist Church. I am currently the Child Care
Director at Crossway Child Care |
