Young school-age children are full of physical energy and eager to take on both mental and physical challenges. The After School Program at Crossway Child Care is designed to meet both areas of your school-age child's needs in a safe supervised environment.

Having spent several hours in the structure of a classroom, the first thing needed is the opportunity to work off some of the penned up energy. Crossway offers a play facility designed to stimulate and challenge young children up to and including the age of 12 years.

Crossway provides time for completing homework and offers homework help to those who need it.

We currently offer transportation from 5 local schools; LaFrance Elementary, Pendleton Elementary, Mt. Lebanon Elementary, Centerville Elementary and New Prospect Elementary.

I grew up in Liberty, SC and graduated from Liberty High School in 2004. That fall I came to Anderson University to pursue my degree in elementary education. I have since changed my major to English in order to establish my freelance writing business, but I am still very passionate about working with children.

I think it is import to encourage children to have open communication with adults from an early age so that they will learn important values such as respect and responsibility. The exciting thing about working with the after school program is that I have the opportunity to utilize my education background in the field of education to promote learning and help them through the frustrations of school and homework. It is never boring with school-aged children, they surprise me and make me laugh every day.
